Job description

Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Vacaville, California.

    • Job Overview

    We are seeking experienced Labor & Delivery RN Travelers for ASAP-start 8-week contracts at NorthBay VacaValley Hospital in the Vacaville, CA area. Must have OB triage experience and minimum 3 years acute care L&D experience. Department works on Alternate Work Schedule (AWS) – DT after 12 hrs / day, OT after 40 hrs / week. Must be willing and able to float to sister facility and other departments as qualified.

    Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, assess, and provide nursing care according to hospital mission, philosophy, policies, and procedures.
  • Deliver high-quality care with professional commitment, teamwork, interpersonal skills, safety, and good public / customer relations.
  • Complete applicable hospital and department-specific RN competencies within 3 months of hire / transfer.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Provide patient and family education to support optimal outcomes.

    • Qualifications

    Required :

  • Active California RN license in good standing.
  • Minimum 2 years recent acute care L&D experience.
  • OB triage experience required.
  • Certifications : BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA).

    • Schedule

  • 36 hours per week – three 12-hour day shifts.
  • Must float to sister facility and other departments as requested and qualified.
  • Contract length : 8 weeks.
  • Start : ASAP.
  • Cancellation policy : Up to 3 shift call-offs per contract.
