- Exhibit competence in the OneCHRISTUS Leadership Competencies.\n
- Deliver nursing care by utilizing the nursing process : assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for assigned patients.\n
- Address complex emotional, psychological, and cultural needs of patients and their families.\n
- Administer medications and treatments according to protocols; monitor for side effects and treatment effectiveness.\n
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient histories, symptoms, medications, and care provided.\n
- Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers, recognizing unique issues and resources.\n\nJob Requirements : \n
- Education / Skills : Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.\n
- Experience : A minimum of 1 year in a related nursing specialty is preferred.\n
- Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications : Current BLS certification; RN License in state of employment or compact.\n\nPosition Requirements : \n\nEducation / Skills\n
- New hires must attend the New Nurses Orientation within 30 days of hire.\n
- All new employees will undergo preceptorship and competency validation for successful onboarding.\n
- Complete annual competency verification requirements.\n\nExperience\n
- Experience in a Perinatal setting or Perinatal RN Residency is preferred.\n\nLicenses, Registrations, or Certifications\n
- Current certifications in AWHONN Intermediate FHM, AWHONN Instructor roles, or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring are required.\n
- Current STABLE certification; current NRP and ACLS certifications are also required.\n\nAll associates must obtain necessary certifications in accordance with the CHRISTUS Health License, Certification and Registration Verification Policy.\n\nWork Schedule : 7PM - 7AM\n\nWork Type : Per Diem As Needed
