Summary :

The Apprentice - Medical Assistant role functions in a training capacity and works alongside a mentor in assisting the physicians / advanced practice practitioners in the care and treatment of patients and providing administrative support, while promoting a smooth flow of patients through the office.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Education : High School diploma or GED preferred. Active enrollment and advancement with a grade of C or better in an approved Medical Assisting Apprenticeship Program required.
• License / Certifications : Current BLS certification required or must be obtained prior to clinical training. NH Med Tech License is required for those positions located in New Hampshire.
• Experience : N / A
