Job descriptionHigh school graduate or equivalent required Associate’s degree preferred 1-2 years of billing experience Prior Experience with data quality processes, system audits or invoice reconciliation Familiarization with EDI transaction processing Proficient using PC, via keyboard / mouse, and various software applications (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite and Kronos). Demonstrated ability to maintain integrity and privacy of confidential information. Ability to work well under pressure and quickly assess and respond appropriately to questions. Ability to adapt to change and learn quickly. Good organizational skills. Excellent attention to detail. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work as contributing member within the team. OVERVIEW
The primary responsibility for this position is to perform all billing transactions in a timely and accurate manner for JVC Enterprises.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND RESULTS
- Recognizes, reconciles, and corrects mismatched billing data based on, established business rules
- Monitors and tracks billing transactions to ensure efficient and accurate processing
- Ensures the timely processing of all billing transactions
- Executes special projects with guidance by leadership
- Issue billing adjustments
- Interface with internal customer service on customer inquiries
- Manage and process contractual changes for Re-licensing, Assumptions / Renewals
- Monitor all Special Fee Contracts, required interpreting contracts and manual billing adjustments. To include periodic audit and review of these contracts
- Assist Manager with reporting and special projects as needed
- Communicate billing issues with the technical department and leadership to ensure timely resolution
- Identifies operational root causes and expected outcomes for billing issues
- Documents billing issues / improvements for resolution / change implementation
- Audits daily bill runs to identify issues; coordinate resolution and re-bill requirements to ensure accurate bill creation post resolution
- Confirms proper billing coding with accounting team.
- Other duties as assigned.
