RADIOLOGY TECH EXTERN - PDN(AS NEEDED)

HOURS : Hours vary.

Completion of one year in a formal Radiology Technology training program in an AMA approved school. Must have completed all student exam competencies.

Performs a variety of diagnostic radiographic procedures at a technical level under the supervision of a registered technologist. Assumes responsibility for patients well being during procedures, assigned rooms, equipment, and supplies. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

This position is designated as a safety sensitive position. The essential duties of the job require the employee to work in a constant state of alertness in a safe manner. A lapse in attention to detail may constitute a threat to health or safety resulting in injury, illness, or death.
