About The Position

Job Title : Inpatient Pharmacist

Profession : Pharmacy

Shift : Day 4x10-Hour

Hours per Shift : 10

Experience : Minimum of 1 year required

License : Valid state pharmacy license required

Certifications : State licensed, PharmD or RPh only, IV Certification, Chemo / Hazardous Drug Certification preferred

Must-Have :

Experience with antibiotics, anticoagulants, cardiac dosing, chemotherapy, clinical dosing, compounding, geriatric dosing, high-alert medications, inpatient / acute care, IV piggyback, IV push medications, packaging antineoplastic agents, pediatric dosing, pharmacokinetic dosing, Pyxis, renal dosing, therapeutic medication monitoring, and warfarin dosing.

Description :

The position involves working as an inpatient pharmacist in an acute care setting.

The pharmacist will be responsible for medication management and patient safety.

The role requires daily interaction with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Experience with charting systems, specifically Epic, is preferred.

The pharmacist may be required to float between units as needed.

The environment is supportive of interdisciplinary collaboration.

Travelers should be willing to work two of the three major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.

Housing arrangements should be considered in the area due to limited options.

Applicants must provide two supervisory references covering at least one year of recent experience.
