Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the upcoming school year within a K-12 public school setting in Auburn, NY. This contract position spans the full school year with an additional maternity leave assignment from September through December. The role requires a licensed SLP to deliver services both in-person and itinerantly across multiple schools within the district.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students from kindergarten through grade 12.
  • Manage a caseload in alignment with the districts workload model and caseload caps.
  • Utilize indirect hours for administrative duties, participate in paid team meetings, and maintain accurate documentation in the IEP system used by the district (training provided).
  • Collaborate with school staff and families to support students communication goals.
  • Provide supervision as needed, depending on candidate credentials.
  • Travel between assigned schools and therapy spaces.

Qualifications :

  • Current NY SLP license.
  • Experience in pediatric speech therapy within educational settings is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse student population.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with school-based therapy caseload models preferred.
  • Candidates currently holding Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status will not be considered at this time.
  • Work Schedule :

  • Full-time, approximately 7.25 hours per day, 36.25 hours per week.
  • School year contract with scheduled paid time for meetings and indirect service hours.
  • Interview Process :
