- Duties
- Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles, including GM vehicles and diesel engines.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for mechanical repairs.
- Work with automotive electrical systems, transmissions, and powertrain components.
- Interpret schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive systems.
- Ensure proper alignment and vehicle maintenance as per manufacturer specifications.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance overall service efficiency.
- Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician is required.
- Dealership experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
- Proficient in automotive repair techniques, including welding and auto estimating.
- Familiarity with alignment procedures and vehicle maintenance protocols.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction.
