Automotive Technician

• Duties
• Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues accurately.
• Conduct repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles, including GM vehicles and diesel engines.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for mechanical repairs.
• Work with automotive electrical systems, transmissions, and powertrain components.
• Interpret schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive systems.
• Ensure proper alignment and vehicle maintenance as per manufacturer specifications.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance overall service efficiency.
• Qualifications
• Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician is required.
• Dealership experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
• Proficient in automotive repair techniques, including welding and auto estimating.
• Familiarity with alignment procedures and vehicle maintenance protocols.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction.
