Manager-Construction & Engineering at AT&T

Location : Frankfort, Kentucky | Schedule : Full-time, 40 hours per week

What you'll do

• Supervision and management of teams of technicians.
• Lead regular huddles to discuss and direct assignments; oversee the flow and distribution of inventory and supplies; partner with dispatch to apportion work orders among crews; ensure allocation of work; maintain technician work schedules; manage attendance; review and maintain records used to supervise technicians (e.g., work order close-out narratives, key metric reports, time entries).
• Identify potential issues and missed customer-service opportunities from prior days' work; provide feedback, training, and coaching to technicians; ensure crews handle hardware with care; budget tools; evaluate and appraise technician performance; recommend promotions for high-performing technicians and discipline for underperformers.
• Interview and gauge the skill level of potential hires and transfers; handle technician grievances per the collective bargaining agreement at step one; identify and remove roadblocks to safe and efficient performance; conduct in-field safety and quality inspections to ensure proper and safe workmanship.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range : $77,100.00 – $115,700.00 USD annually. Starting salary may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education / training.
