ER RN Job Details – Albuquerque Healthcare Jobs Location : Albuquerque, NM 87102 (New Mexico nursing jobs) Assignment Type : Travel Contract Unit : Emergency Room (ER) Shift : Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (18 : 30 - 07 : 00), choose 36 or 48 hours / week Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 24 / 2025 – End : 2 / 23 / 2026) Patient Ratio : 1 : 5 Weekend Coverage : Every other weekend (minimum 3 per 6-week schedule) Orientation : 24 hours onsite Scrub Color : Any color (no logos) Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,620 - $1,660 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active NM or Compact RN license (required for submission) Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience in a progressive or acute care setting First-time travel nurses welcome with 2-3 years of ER experience Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS Preferred : Charge nurse experience, Epic charting, community hospital, LTAC, Trauma Level I / II experience Experience caring for all patient age groups : Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics Proficient in starting / maintaining IVs, managing central lines, administering blood products, interpreting ABGs and dysrhythmias Willingness to float to similar units within scope as needed ER Nurse Responsibilities Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency care to diverse patient populations Assess, triage, and manage patients with respiratory, cardiac, neurological, trauma, OB / GYN, and other acute conditions Perform and assist with procedures : chest tubes, thoracentesis, paracentesis, rapid sequence intubation (RSI), splinting, procedural sedation, central line placement Operate specialized equipment : Rapid Infuser, EZ IO, Lifepack 15 / 20, GE Monitors / EKG, Glidescope Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, social services, and pharmacy teams Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic (preferred) Follow hospital policies, infection control, and patient safety standards Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your ER RN travel nursing career in Albuquerque, New Mexico!
