Opportunity : RN - Med Surg Job Details : - Work 12-hour shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM or 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM - Every other weekend requirement with holiday coverage required - Patient ratio of 1 : 6 on a 36-bed medical-surgical unit - Float to other units as needed per hospital policy - Must live within 50-mile radius of facility - Work on 4th floor South Tower unit with telemetry monitoring capabilities - Perform procedures including PICC line removal and vascular catheter removal - Required certifications : BLS and ACLS - Advanced telemetry rhythm interpretation skills needed - Required uniform : Ceil blue scrubs following hospital hygiene and dress code policy - Participate in patient experience requirements including hourly rounding, bedside shift report, My Care Boards, and AIDET - Utilize equipment including telemetry monitors, Dynamaps, glucometers, iMobile phones, and bladder scanners - Document using Meditech electronic health record system - Self-scheduling available within established guidelines - Must demonstrate strong assessment skills, attention to detail, positive attitude, flexibility, teamwork, and ability to handle stressful situations Facility : This healthcare facility is a 328-bed acute care hospital that has been serving the community since 1903.
