Job description

Job Title : OutSystems Developer (Web & Mobile)

Location : Hybrid [Atlanta, Georgia] (WFO 2-3 days / week)

Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced OutSystems Developer with 4+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying web and mobile applications using the OutSystems low-code platform. The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of OutSystems best practices, architecture, and performance optimization while ensuring security and scalability.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain web and mobile applications using OutSystems Reactive, Traditional Web, and Mobile frameworks.
  • rchitect, design, and implement scalable solutions while following OutSystems architecture best practices.
  • Integrate external systems and APIs (REST, SOAP) with OutSystems applications.
  • Ensure performance optimization, scalability, and security of OutSystems applications.
  • Work with OutSystems Service Studio, Integration Studio, and Lifetime for development, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Implement OutSystems UI patterns and reusable components for a seamless user experience.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize OutSystems applications for better efficiency and performance.
  • Leverage OutSystems Forge components and extend functionalities as needed.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, UX Designers, and other developers to translate business needs into functional applications.
  • Work in Agile / Scrum environments and participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily standups.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for developed applications.
  • Stay updated with OutSystems platform upgrades, best practices, and emerging trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • 4+ years of experience in OutSystems application development (Web & Mobile).
  • Proficiency in OutSystems Service Studio, Integration Studio, and LifeTime.
  • Experience with OutSystems Reactive and Traditional Web applications.
  • Strong understanding of OutSystems architecture and best practices.
  • Experience with database modeling using OutSystems Entities & External Data Sources.
  • Knowledge of OutSystems UI patterns and reusable components.
  • Hands-on experience integrating APIs (REST / SOAP) and third-party systems.
  • Proficiency in SQL and knowledge of OutSystems performance optimization techniques.
  • Experience with OutSystems security features (role-based access control, authentication, session management).
  • bility to troubleshoot and debug applications effectively within OutSystems.
  • Experience working in an Agile / Scrum development environment.

    • Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have) :

  • OutSystems Certifications (Associate / Professional / Expert Developer).
  • Experience with DevOps practices, CI / CD pipelines, and automated deployments in OutSystems.
  • Knowledge of OutSystems Mobile (Offline Sync, Push Notifications, Native APIs).
  • Familiarity with cloud deployments (AWS / Azure) within an OutSystems environment.
  • Understanding of modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) and their integration with OutSystems.
  • Prior experience working on OutSystems Performance Optimization & Factory Configuration.
