  • Contract Type : Travel Nursing (ICU RN travel contract)\n
  • Shift : Night, 3x12-Hour Shifts (19 : 00 - 07 : 00)\n
  • Weekly Hours : 36\n
  • Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 21 / 2025 – End : 2 / 20 / 2026)\n
  • Patient Ratio : 1 : 2 (Days / Nights / Weekends)\n
  • Charting System : Epic\n
  • Parking : On-site ($125 / month)\n
  • Estimated Weekly Pay : $1880–$2020\n
  • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Minimum 2 years of recent ICU RN experience (1.5 years accepted from Level I trauma centers or large hospitals)\n
  • Active Registered Nurse license (Connecticut RN license required; must apply prior to start)\n
  • Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS\n
  • Proficiency with PA catheters (Swan Ganz)\n
  • First-time travel nurses welcome\n
  • Ability to float to ICU and PCU units as needed\n
  • One professional reference required\n
  • Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)\n
  • Local candidates (within 75 miles) not accepted\n
  • \n\nICU RN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver critical care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac and vascular diagnoses (STEMI / NSTEMI, cardiogenic shock, unstable dysrhythmias, advanced heart failure, post-cardiac arrest)\n
  • Manage PA catheters and participate in device review prior to start\n
  • Administer and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips\n
  • Perform airway management and care for ventilated patients\n
  • Interpret arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias\n
  • Assist with BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow nasal cannula management\n
  • Float to ICU and PCU units as needed\n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care\n
  • Maintain infection prevention and isolation precautions\n
