Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse (RN) - Home Health at Wellstar Home Health

Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse looking to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives? Wellstar Home Health is seeking compassionate and skilled RNs to provide high-quality home health care. This vital role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing your clinical expertise to improve patient outcomes and promote wellness in the comfort of their homes.

In this role, you'll deliver comprehensive nursing care, including wound management, IV therapy, disease education for conditions like CHF and COPD, catheter care, and PICC line dressing changes across various counties, including Cobb, Douglas, Paulding, parts of Cherokee and Fulton. Enjoy a schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with the flexibility and support of a dedicated team committed to your professional success.

Required Skills:
  • Minimum 1 year of Medical/Surgical Nursing or Home Health experience; ICU experience preferred
  • Current RN licensure (single state or multi-state compact)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Proficiency in computer data entry and strong communication skills
  • Ability to utilize Excel, Word, and basic computer operations
  • Willingness to obtain certifications as needed
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with Epic and 3M systems
  • Knowledge of home health equipment such as wound vacs
  • Experience with disease process assessments and patient education
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Associates Degree in Nursing, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Extensive critical care nursing skills highly valued
Other Requirements:
  • Valid Georgia Driver's License or equivalent
  • Private Vehicle Insurance
  • Willingness to travel within designated service areas
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Hourly Pay Rate: $46.90
