Sweet Mary`s Bakery in Akron, OH is looking to hire one part-time to full-time Kitchen Assistant / Prep Cook to help us keep up with our fast-growing business.

Availability on at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) is required, and shifts are available on weekdays as well. No night shifts and generally no Mondays. We will fully train on our techniques and specific recipes, but we are looking for someone with some prior experience in food prep, preferably with reading recipes, making doughs, frostings, and other basic kitchen applications. A passion for from-scratch baking is ideal, as is general versatility and openness to learning about new products and techniques. ServSafe Food Safety Certifications are a plus!

Pay is commensurate with experience, starting at $15 / hour + your share of tips. We offer flexible hours, hands on learning, a positive work environment, and as much product tasting / testing as you can handle.
