Job descriptionWork 40 hours per week with various shift options available 5 eight-hour shifts : 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM 4 ten-hour shifts : 8 : 00 AM - 6 : 30 PM 3 twelve-hour shifts : 8 : 00 AM - 8 : 30 PM or 9 : 00 AM - 9 : 30 PM May require occasional weekend shifts, on-call rotation, and holiday rotation May be required to work flexible hours and alternate shifts as needed Perform MRI procedures and related techniques to produce diagnostic images Prepare patients for procedures and provide instruction to minimize anxiety Apply magnetic resonance safety principles to minimize risk Select and operate magnetic resonance systems and associated equipment Position patients and equipment for optimal anatomic demonstration Perform venipuncture and maintain venous access Prepare and administer contrast media Assist physicians with interventional procedures Evaluate images for technical quality and manipulate digital data Use radiology information systems including PACS Provide practical instruction to partners and students Graduate of accredited radiography program required Experience as MRI Technologist required ARRT Radiography registration required ARRT MRI registration required CPR or BLS certification required Referral bonus
