Strongly preferred : Classroom teaching experience and EKG / Cardiac experience.
The Clinical Educator – Point of Care serves as the unit educator for new employee orientation and facilitates annual development of team members through formal and informal in-services and training programs. This role supports bedside clinical team members, fosters empowerment through evidence-based nursing practice, collaborates with the clinical education team to provide orientation and retraining, and ensures quality documentation and compliance with hospital policies, nursing procedures, and regulatory standards. The educator participates in planning and implementing initiatives aimed at improving clinical quality outcomes, achieving departmental goals, and driving enhancements in retention, patient satisfaction, and safe care practices. Acting as a clinical subject-matter expert, the Clinician serves as an internal consultant to leadership, ensuring professional standards are integrated into decision-making and practice, while functioning as an educator, change agent, and researcher.
