About The Position

We are hiring an experienced Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant to join a busy surgical team providing both inpatient and outpatient care. This position offers a mix of clinical, surgical, and call responsibilities with strong physician and mid-level support.

Position Details

Schedule :  Monday–Friday, 6 : 00 AM – 2 : 00 PM (8-hour guarantee)

Call :  ~5% weekdays, ~75% weekends (primarily ER call)

Setting :  90% hospital (inpatient / acute care), 10% clinic

Patient Population :  Adults only

Daily Caseload :  ~10 patients (5 admissions, 5 ICU, 4 surgeries)

Support Staff :  4 physicians & 7 mid-level providers

EMR :  Epic

Job Requirements

Experience :  Minimum 2 years as a Cardiothoracic PA

Skills Required : Vein harvesting

First assist on all open-heart cases

Suturing

Comprehensive pre- and post-op surgical care

Benefits

Daily Rate :  $1050 / W2 and $1200 / 1099 (Covers 8 onsite hours + call when off-campus)

License reimbursement

Certification reimbursement

Travel stipend $1200 per week
