Overview Sr. User Experience Designer role at Stefanini Group (via Dice). Onsite in Dearborn, MI.

Responsibilities Drive design excellence and shape user-centered digital solutions across complex products and platforms.

Operate as a strategic leader and hands-on designer to ensure design quality, cohesion, and impact.

Lead design thinking sessions, workshops, and cross-functional alignment discussions.

Ensure design cohesion and quality across platforms and product lines.

Conduct advanced research and usability assessments; make strategic, data-informed design decisions.

Mentor and coach designers; review and elevate peers\' work.

Represent the design function in strategic conversations with leadership and stakeholders.

Shape team roadmaps and goals; influence product direction with high-impact decisions.

Contribute to the broader design community (e.g., publishing, speaking, open source).

Experience & Qualifications Experience Required : 5+ years of UX / product design; senior designer with leadership responsibilities; experience with application design, strategic communication, and user research; proficiency in design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite); strong understanding of UI development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript); portfolio demonstrating leadership on end-to-end design initiatives across multiple platforms.

Specialized skills : UX design, UI development, and ability to influence stakeholders; experience in Lean / Agile environments; knowledge of in-vehicle, mobile, motion, API-driven systems (preferred).

Education : Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in HCI, Human Factors, Design, Psychology, Communications, or related field.

Preferred & Other Qualifications Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and build design talent; track record of introducing innovative design methods and advancing design maturity.

Strong portfolio showing leadership on high-impact, end-to-end design initiatives across multiple platforms.
