Continuous Improvement Buyer
We are partnering with an industry-leading agricultural equipment manufacturer to find their next Continuous Improvement Buyer in Waterloo, IA! As a CI Buyer, you will support global supply management and logistics operations, driving supply strategy, supplier performance, and cost optimization for critical production components.
What You'll Do :
- Lead and support supplier negotiations to meet cost, quality, and continuity goals
- Drive continuous improvement across supplier relationships, performance, and total cost using established supply management tools
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to influence future product architecture and module decisions
- Support Engineering Change Management to ensure timely and cost-effective implementation of design and product updates
Requirements :
Experience preferred : 2+ years of project management experience (planning, coordinating resources, delivering results)2+ years of negotiation and conflict-resolution experience (internal and / or supplier-facing)2+ years in a Supply Management roleStrong written and verbal communication skillsBackground in product design, quality, cost management, or direct material supply managementExperience working with global teams or global productsAdvanced proficiency in MS Office (Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerBI)Working knowledge of SAP and SharePointEducation : Bachelor's degree in Supply Management, Business, Engineering, or equivalent experienceLocation : Waterloo, IA
Duration : Currently approved for 2 year contract, possibility of extension.
