Description

Summer / Fall Co-op : June / July to December

The Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Field Applications Engineer Co-op to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting our customers and working with our internal engineering teams to provide technical support for our timing, power, and connectivity products.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the sales team and field applications engineers to support customers in the adoption of timing, power, and wireless connectivity products.

Assist in technical pre-sales activities, including product demonstrations, presentations, and customer training.

Work closely with customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions.

• There may be opportunities for travel and customer visits during the duration of this co-op; however, travel is not required and is optional.

Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions.

Gather feedback from customers and relay it to the product development teams.

Assist in creating technical documentation, including competitive analysis.

Qualifications

Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Ability to work in-person in the San Jose office 5 days a week.

Preferred Skills

Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Strong interest in semiconductor technology and applications.

Basic understanding of timing, power, and wireless connectivity concepts.

Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and eager to learn.

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
