Production Lead
A leading production company in the manufacturing of grout and concrete is seeking a long-term Production Lead. This role is pivotal in overseeing production activities and ensuring the seamless operation of the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities :
Supervise and coordinate production activities, including batching, mixing, measuring, and finishing of concrete products.
Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining product quality and minimizing waste.
Monitor raw material usage and inventory levels; coordinate with procurement and logistics teams.
Operate and oversee the maintenance of production equipment.
Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety checks to ensure compliance with company standards.
Train and mentor production staff on concrete handling, equipment operation, and quality control procedures.
Troubleshoot production issues, including mix inconsistencies, equipment malfunctions, and environmental conditions.
Maintain accurate production records, including batch tickets, quality logs, and shift reports.
Collaborate with quality control and maintenance teams to ensure product specifications are met.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce downtime, and improve product consistency.
Load, unload, and transport materials and finished products using a forklift. Operate machinery safely and efficiently according to company guidelines.
Follow all safety regulations and workplace procedures.
Essential Skills :
At least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role within a production / manufacturing environment.
Proficient in using production software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and in varying weather conditions.
Must regularly lift and / or move up to 25 pounds, and frequently lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
Additional Skills & Qualifications :
Must be comfortable being cross-trained within multiple departments.
Ability to complete basic math and measuring.

Work Environment :
This role is based in an industrial environment where steel-toed shoes are required. Personal protective equipment such as hard hats, safety glasses, and respiratory masks are provided.
The position operates on a 3rd shift schedule, Friday to Sunday from 5 am to 5 : 30 pm.

Pay and Benefits :
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
