Your main tasks and responsibilities :

• Prepares work orders for factory by assuring engineering documents and routes are prepared. Reviews Bill of Material requirements, checks materials on-hand, and creates requisitions for shortages.
• Serves as Buyer / Planner for common components. Purchases items set up on blanket orders. Performs inventory planning for necessary safety stock items. Assures purchased items are arriving on time to meet schedules.
• Maintains and prepares manufacturing status reports and charts according to established production goals. Serves as Engineering Change Coordinator.
• Releases work orders to factory based on Master Schedule dates, lead-time of components, and shop capacity. Monitors Progress. Establishes priorities for work centers and departments. Reports schedule deviations and initiates recovery plans.
• Expedites suppliers for materials and data needed to meet Master Schedule due dates.
• Initiates sub-contract work, when necessary, to meet Master Schedule completion dates. Evaluates load vs. capacity to identify and act on overload situations.
• Coordinates with QE on Rework, Repair and Warranty work in plant.
• Regular and reliable attendance
