Telemetry RN Job Details

Location : Laconia, NH 03246 – Explore the vibrant New Hampshire healthcare community, scenic lakes, and year-round outdoor recreation.

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 10 / 2025 – End : 2 / 8 / 2026)

Setting : Nursing Float Pool – Telemetry Unit

Shift : 12-hour nights (7pm – 7am), 3 shifts per week

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Employment Type : Travel RN Contract

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1950-$2000

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active New Hampshire or Compact State RN license (required at time of submission)

Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience as a Telemetry RN

BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (current and valid)

Ability to pass Dysrhythmia exam (minimum 80%) during onboarding

Completed Skills Checklist for Telemetry nursing specialty

2 recent Charge / Manager RN references in Telemetry or related specialty

Up-to-date resume highlighting travel nurse experience

Experience with Cerner EMR preferred

Proficiency with Cardizem, insulin drips (for hyperglycemia), and Phenobarbital administration on Telemetry

First-time travel nurses with strong Telemetry experience encouraged to apply

Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Telemetry nursing environment

Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond promptly to changes in patient status

Administer medications including Cardizem, insulin drips, and Phenobarbital as ordered

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR)

Provide patient education and support to patients and their families

Float to other nursing units within the Float Pool as needed
