About The Position

Title : CT Technologist

Location : Baltimore, MD 21215

Duration : 14 weeks

Shift : Day, 3x12 hours (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 30 PM)

Job Requirements

Job Responsibilities :

• Perform CT scans using prescribed techniques
• Review requisitions for completeness and accuracy
• Adjust equipment and technical factors for optimal imaging
• Select protocols for each CT scan
• Administer IV / oral contrast and document in Cerner
• Complete screenings, consents, and scan paperwork in a timely manner

Qualifications : Experience :

Minimum 2 years of CT experience

Required experience in abdomen, pelvis, head / neck, chest, spine, brain perfusion, CTAs, multiplanar reconstruction

Preferred experience in aspirations / biopsies, colography, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, transplant studies, PET / CT

Charting system experience :

Cerner required

Teaching hospital experience :

Teaching hospital experience Required

Community hospital experience :

Community hospital experience Required

Certifications :

ARRT R,

ARRT advanced cert (preferred),

BLS,

MD license

Scanner equipment : GE, Siemens

Travel experience : Not required
