As a Security Professional - Armed Government Patrol in Windsor, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will provide security-related patrols and maintain a visible presence at a government location. Your role will involve conducting routine checks, helping to deter security-related incidents, and offering outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites + Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education + Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams + Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service + Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed. + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate action in line with company guidelines. + Conduct regular and random patrols of the assigned facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and maintain a visible presence. + Monitor for unusual activity or potential security-related threats within the government facility and communicate findings to the appropriate personnel. + Operate and maintain assigned security-related equipment, including firearms, in accordance with training and company procedures. + Prepare detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and any security-related concerns encountered during patrols. + Collaborate with on-site staff and law enforcement agencies as required to address incidents and / or emergencies. + Comply with all applicable laws, company standards, and location-specific protocols while performing armed duties.

  • Availability across various days and shifts + Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments + A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company + Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
  • Minimum Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age. + Must possess a valid armed guard card or license. + Must have at least 6 months of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and / or military roles. + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. + Participate in industry-specific security training programs. + Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. + A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
