Lead Backend Software Engineer (GOlang / AWS)

What You Will Be Doing :

Work closely with Agile teams to design, develop, test, and support technical solutions using a full-stack approach.

Stay updated on the latest technology trends, continuously experimenting with new tools, participating in technology communities, and mentoring fellow engineers.

Collaborate with digital product managers to create robust cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans in their financial journeys.

Utilize programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala alongside open-source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, as well as container orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes, with a wide array of AWS services.

Basic Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree.

A minimum of 3 years of professional software engineering experience (Internship experience is not applicable).

Preferred Qualifications :

5+ years of experience in programming languages like GO, Java, Scala, Python, or Splunk.

1+ years of cloud service experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar platforms.

3+ years of experience working with open-source frameworks.

2+ years of experience applying Agile methodologies.

The role offers a competitive salary range, which varies by location :

McLean, VA : $158,600 - $181,000

Richmond, VA : $144,200 - $164,600
