About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Profession : Nursing

Specialty : Pediatric Acute Care Float Pool

Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : Night

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience :

Minimum Years of Experience Required : Travel experience preferred.

License : Must have a Missouri or compact license and a Kansas license.

Certifications :

ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Must-Have :

Pediatric or Peds Med Surge experience considered.

Travel experience is required.

Description :

The Float positions will be expected to float to similar units within the same facility.

There is a small chance of floating to another state, but it is unlikely.

Floating will only occur to similar specialties; floating to outside acuity is not permitted.

Nurses should have experience in pediatric acute care.

Only AHA BLS and ACLS certifications will be accepted.

Those contracted may start with the Kansas license pending, but documentation of application must be provided.

A medication and dosage test will be administered in the first week, and a 100% pass rate is required.

Three attempts will be allowed to pass the testing.

This facility is smoke-free.
