About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Ashland, MA. This role is key to driving operational excellence by designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes and layouts. You’ll lead lean transformation efforts, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and support the development of efficient, high-quality production systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Process Certification, Lean Transformation, and other Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives across manufacturing operations.
• Identify and quantify process waste (Muda) in collaboration with Finance, aligning improvements with business goals.
• Plan and facilitate improvement events (Quick and Standard Kaizen) using PDCA methodology.
• Manage Pro-Cert initiatives including PFMEA, Gauge R&R, capability studies, control plans, and process capability audits.
• Develop and maintain factory workflow systems such as QCPC, Tool Request, RPA (Request for Production Assistance), and CI certification programs.
• Support and participate in company-wide CI assessments and maturity evaluations.
