Benefits :Gordon Management is a local family-owned development company seeking a Commercial Construction Manager. Construction projects will include multi family residential, retail facilities, office space, fit-ups, storage facilities, hotel renovations, demo / rehabs, among other projects.
The Construction Manager will administer the construction process from concept to close out in close communication with the team to ensure projects are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities :
Buys out or assists in buyout, develop, monitor, update and publish submittal schedule, project schedule, material status reports, milestones and close out requirements.
Skills
Effective communication and written skills.
Fundamental understanding of construction practices and construction management practices and procedures.
Ability to understand contract documents, read plans, and layout.
Strong technology skills, including Microsoft Office and project management applications.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
