Line Worker

Job Purpose : As a production line worker for Lucas Oil Products, you will work alongside teammates to bottle and package Lucas Oil. The line worker’s responsibilities include keeping the production area clean, preparing machinery and equipment for use, working the production line as instructed, and strictly following work instructions, as well as health and safety guidelines. To be successful as a production line worker you should be able to work on the production line with consistent speed and accuracy. An outstanding production line worker should be able to maintain production standards and work towards improving productivity without compromising quality.

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Efficiently perform manufacturing line duties, including, but not limited to operating machinery, monitoring output, recognizing malfunctions, manually filling bottles, affixing lids and labels, stacking cases on pallets, securing pallets, moving product and heavy objects by hand, and performing other labor functions as directed by a supervisor.
• Safely and efficiently operate a forklift, performing such tasks as moving pallets of product, supplies and equipment from point-to-point inside and outside the facility.
• Follow established safety protocols to ensure a safe, secure, and healthy work environment.
• Maintaining a clean workstation and production floor.
• Identify and attend to quality issues as needed.
• Report issues timely to the supervisor on duty.
• Performing other tasks as assigned.
