Butler Machinery is in search of a passionate individual who can build strong relationships with customers. A Parts and Service Sales Representative will be located at our store in Rapid City OR Pierre, SD. This position assists salesmen with customer presentations, markets, and sells the value of our parts and service, and finds new customers within the territory. This position will be calling customer accounts within their territory, building strong relationships, and possessing strong organizational skills. This position requires periodic travel to customer accounts. • Establishes customer relationships.
• Assists salesmen with customer presentations.
• Communicates with the Aftermarket Sales Manager to relay parts and service opportunities as well as progress on tasks assigned, etc.
• Markets and sells the value of CAT parts and service.
• Find new markets, customers, and applications within the territory.
• Performs equipment inspections to include certified used equipment, warranty inspections, certified truck service, and customer repair inspections.
• Develop good knowledge of competitive products and suppliers.
• Provides input on annual forecasts for territory potential.
• Resolve customer issues.
• Works with Customer Account Managers and Parts and Service Managers on goals and marketing ideas.
• Keeps good customer records.
• Works within and promotes the vision, mission, and values of BMC.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
