Job description

Position : Psychiatrist (Remote - Florida Residents Only)

Department : Behavioral Health

Reports To : Avel eCare Medical Director

Location :

Remote - must reside in Florida

Schedule :

  • 12 daytime shifts per month
  • 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 PM
  • FTE : Approx. 1.0 FTE
  • Compensation Type : Hourly, Non-Exempt

Avel eCare is transforming healthcare delivery with one of the most expansive telemedicine networks in the country. This is a unique opportunity for a Florida-based Psychiatrist to deliver expert care from home while contributing to high-acuity virtual consultationsprimarily in emergency department (ED) environments.

Position Highlights :

  • 100% Remote -

    • must reside in Florida

  • Predictable daytime schedule (12 shifts / month, 12 hours each)

    • Requirements :

    Education & Experience :

  • MD or DO degree required
  • Residency training in Psychiatry

    • Licensure & Certification :

  • Board Eligible required
  • Board Certified in Psychiatry within 5 years of start date
  • Active Florida medical license required
  • Must be physically located in Florida to be eligible
