Job Overview

Join our dynamic team at the MUSC Children's After Hours and Specialty Clinics, a pediatric outpatient clinic that provides invaluable services to our community. We are an extension of the Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital at MUSC, offering specialized care in areas such as orthopedics, cardiology, and pulmonary. Our clinic operates during weekdays and also provides essential After Hours Care when pediatric offices are typically closed.

Our specialty clinics are open Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4 : 30 pm, and our After Hours Care operates on weekdays from 3 pm to 10 pm, with weekend and holiday hours from 12 pm to 7 pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the healthcare team in providing excellent patient-centered care.
• Assist with examinations and treatments under the direction of a physician.
• Interview patients and measure vital signs, documenting information accurately in patient records.
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. Good visual acuity and hearing are also essential.
