We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Superintendent of Construction to lead our on-site team from the start of construction through to project completion. This role involves overseeing all aspects of the project, including scheduling, logistics, quality control, and staffing, to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities include :

• Leading the on-site team from construction start through project close.
• Overseeing and making decisions related to the performance of work related to scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control, and trade employee staffing levels.
• Promoting coordinated project operations by overseeing work among assigned trades.
• Resolving local area problems regarding procedures, precedence, design clarifications, adequate labor, and equipment scheduling.
• Conducting daily jobsite walkthroughs to verify field conditions, in addition to managing daily safe work plans and toolbox talks.
• Monitoring the detailed master schedule, creating a two-week look ahead, and tracking critical dates impacting project completion.
• Proactively identifying and helping resolve design deficiencies, schedule concerns, and other project-specific issues.
• Communicating and interpreting contract scope to the entire site management team.
• Conducting preconstruction meetings with all subcontractors before each phase of work.
• Creating and maintaining a project production schedule.
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients, architects, developers, and subcontractors.
• Performing other duties and responsibilities as required.

Work environment :

This position is based onsite, requiring frequent travel to jobsites. The work environment is dynamic and involves managing diverse teams and coordinating various project activities.

Job type and location :

This is a contract to hire position based out of Dallas, Texas.

Pay and benefits :

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $65.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
