LocumJobsOnline is working with Wellhart, LLC to find a qualified Gastroenterology MD in Charleston, South Carolina, 29406!

About The Position

We are seeking a board-certified Gastroenterologist for a 5-day locum tenens assignment in South Carolina starting Nov 26, 2025. This opportunity features 12-hour day shifts with call coverage, Monday through Sunday. The role requires proficiency in ERCP and involves a variety of endoscopic procedures, patient rounding, and consult management. Experience with eClinicalWorks and PatientKeeper EMR systems is essential.

  • Schedule : 12-hour shifts with call coverage, 7am-7pm, Monday to Sunday

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform ERCP and other endoscopic procedures, starting at 8 : 00am
  • Provide patient care rounds and manage consults as needed
  • Rotate between assigned facilities to conduct scopes and patient rounds
  • Remain available for evening pager call coverage
  • Document all patient interactions and procedures using eClinicalWorks and PatientKeeper

    • Additional Information

  • Board certification in Gastroenterology is required
  • Must be licensed to practice in South Carolina
  • Prior experience performing ERCP is required
