Job descriptionBasic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) National Institutes of Health (NIH) Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Active unencumbered Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner state license Graduate from a fully accredited PA or NP program One year of work experience as Heart Failure Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant One year of Epic experience Board Certified Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills. Participates in relevant continuing education programs. Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients. Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise. A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital. Effective interpersonal / communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks. COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
A reputable client in Augusta, Georgia, with an opportunity for a Heart Failure Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum coverage.

Opportunity Details :
- Inpatient setting
- Schedule : 8-hour shifts Monday-Friday, or 12-hour shifts 7 on / 7 off
- Daily Volume : 10-15 patients
- Support Staff : 3 full-time MDs and 2 APPS
- EMR : Epic
- 1 year of inpatient experience preferred
- Must be board-certified
- Paid travel & expenses
