Manager, Software Engineering (Imaging)

This position will be hybrid at Iowa State Research Park at 2625 N Loop Dr Suite 2130 Ames IA 50010 2 days per week.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Software Engineering Manager and an Associate S oftware Engineering Manager . to lead a mission-focused team building solutions that improve the lives of Henry Schein One users and their patients. Youll set the tone by shaping technical strategy mentoring engineers and delivering high-availability dental imaging recruit and retain top talent creating a high-performing engineering team and guiding engineers as they take ownership of their missions and delivery commitments.

Our teams work with context autonomy and a focus on solving meaningful problems. Were raising the bar on deployment frequency and technical practices - mastering scrum and operating in 6-week cycles that balance innovation technical debt and customer needs.

What You Will Do

• Lead and grow a mission-focused team of5 engineers and test engineers to deliver market-leading solutions on our dental imaging platform
• Recruit retain and develop engineers by inspiring motivating and coaching team membersto build a culture of high performance trust and continuous growth
• Oversee the team and support them in achieving their missions and delivery commitments
• Enable your team by removing workflow roadblocks and improving processes
• Ensure products are secure compliant and reliable for Henry Schein One customers
• Collaborate with senior leaders on vision and strategy aligning your teams work with company goals
• Partner closely with Product leadership to influence and deliver on strategic commitments
• Buildcross-functional relationships to drive the best possible user experiences
• Mature engineering practices and processes to support global growth opportunities
• Positively and collaboratively influence decision-making across teams departments and stakeholders

The posted range for this position is $120000 - $165000 which is the expected starting salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience current skills location / labor market internal equity etc. This position is eligible for a bonus target not reflected in the range.
