USD Cook

Our client, a healthcare organization dedicated to supporting patient well-being and nutritional health, is seeking a USD | Cook to join their team. As a USD | Cook, you will be part of the Food Services Department supporting patient care and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title : USD | Cook

Location : Muncie, IN

Pay Range :

Shift : 05 : 30 AM start, 8-hour shifts

What's the Job?

Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and safety standards

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and food preparation areas

Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures are followed

Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed

Support team members to deliver quality food service to patients and guests

What's Needed?

Experience as a cook or in a related food service role required

Knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations

Ability to acquire food safety certification

Basic math and counting skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
