Industrial Painter

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to join the painting team and support coatings operations in a fast-paced industrial environment. This position requires hands-on experience in surface preparation and application of industrial coatings such as epoxies and urethanes. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform surface preparation including pressure washing, sanding, masking, and rolling
• Apply industrial coatings (epoxy, urethane) using brush, roll, and spray techniques
• Adhere to safety and environmental policies and procedures at all times
• Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow job specifications and work orders accurately
• Conduct quality checks to ensure coating meets required standards
• Perform light forklift operation and assist with other general labor tasks as needed
• Assist with minor concrete work and other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of industrial painting experience
• Proficient with surface prep and coatings application methods (spray, brush, roll)
• Familiar with working with epoxies and urethanes
• Ability to read and follow job specifications and safety procedures
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Willingness to assist with general labor duties as required
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods

Work Environment:

• Industrial/Manufacturing setting
• Exposure to chemicals, dust, and varying temperatures
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required
