The Lutheran Home is seeking a dedicated Certified Medication Technician (CMT) for a part-time position-an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to add meaningful part-time hours to their schedule. In this essential role, you’ll administer medications and provide crucial support to promote the comfort, safety, and well-being of our residents. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to :

• Administers prescribed medications to residents and maintains related medical records under supervision of a nurse
• Takes vital signs or observes resident to detect responses to specified types of medications and prepares reports or notifies designated personnel of any unexpected reactions
• Assists residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed
• Answers call lights and takes appropriate action
• Completes documentation accurately, timely, and in accordance with facility policies and procedures
• Reviews residents’ care plans and performs nursing care as outlined
• Perform CNA duties as part of daily responsibilities when not actively administering medications or as directed by the nursing supervisor
