Manufacturing Technician - Tempering

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY :

Support manufacturing by safely moving glass through the tempering process.

SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES :

• Accurately read and measure glass specifications.
• Safely move glass through the tempering facility.
• Load and unload glass from washers, polishers, ovens, and roller tables.
• Operate multiple machines through tempering process.
• Follow the order paperwork to ensure accurate production.
• Constantly perform quality check on product.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED :

WORKING CONDITIONS :

Works primarily indoors with exposure to seasonal weather extremes. Exposure to sharp and rapid equipment movement, sharp utensils, and materials.

SAFETY :

The safety of our teammates is our #1 priority. It is mandatory for all teammates to wear the appropriate PPE when working or walking in the warehouse or loading dock area. Each department maintains an updated list of what PPE should be worn. Safety is not an option; it is a requirement.
