Travel Nurse Job Details

Location : Payson, Arizona 85541 (Arizona nursing jobs)

Assignment Length : 13-week travel contract (Start : 11 / 24 / 2025 – End : 2 / 23 / 2026)

Shift : 12-hour night shifts (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)

Hours per Week : 24 guaranteed hours per week

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,880 - $2,020 per week (estimated)

On-Call : Schedule determined by facility

Weekend Schedule : To be determined by facility

Completion Bonus : $10,000 upon successful completion of assignment

Employment Type : Travel RN, W2

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years (24 months) of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience (required)

Active and unencumbered Arizona RN license

Current certifications (AHA or American Red Cross) :

BLS (Basic Life Support)

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

AFM (Advanced Fetal Monitoring)

Previous travel nursing experience preferred

Flu vaccination required (declinations may be considered)

Must not have an Arizona home address on driver’s license

Meet all facility background check and onboarding requirements

Submission materials : Resume, skills checklist (within 1 year), and license verification (within 30 days)

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit

Monitor maternal and fetal health throughout labor and delivery

Assist physicians and certified nurse midwives during labor, delivery, and postpartum care

Administer prescribed medications and treatments

Educate patients and families on childbirth, postpartum care, and newborn care

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with hospital and healthcare policies

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to provide high-quality patient care

Participate in on-call and weekend rotations as scheduled
