Job descriptionEducation : Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Licensure : Active New Mexico Registered Nurse (RN) license; BLS and CPR certification required. Experience : Must have at least 1 year experience in rehabilitation, acute care, or related settings. Technical Skills : Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and clinical documentation. Soft Skills : Strong communication, empathy, critical thinking, and adaptability. Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to implement individualized care plans. Monitor patient progress, document observations, and adjust care strategies as needed. Educate patients and families on post-treatment care, medications, and recovery goals. Maintain accurate clinical records, including nursing notes and care summaries. Ensure compliance with safety protocols, infection control standards, and facility policies. Provide compassionate support to patients during rehabilitation and recovery. Remain flexible to work 12-hour day or night shifts based on facility needs.

This per-diem role involves delivering high-quality patient care across 12-hour day or night shifts, focusing on recovery, rehabilitation, and patient / family education in a dynamic clinical environment.
