Job descriptionTitle : Senior Tax Analyst - State & Local Income Tax (SALT) Team Structure : Reports to the Director of Indirect Tax within the Corporate Tax Department Primary Scope : State and local income / franchise tax compliance, tax provision support, audit and notice response, and multistate apportionment Broader Exposure : Opportunity to gain experience in international direct and indirect taxation in a high-growth, fast-paced environment Prepare and review state and local income / franchise tax returns and estimated payments across multiple jurisdictions Assist with quarterly and annual tax provisions in compliance with ASC 740 Maintain and analyze apportionment data (property, payroll, sales) for multistate reporting Respond to tax notices and support state audits and inquiries Conduct technical research and write memos on SALT-related matters Partner with internal departments (Accounting, Finance, Operations) to validate tax data Support tax strategy for new operations and geographic expansion Participate in process improvements and tax automation projects Gain exposure to international tax projects under mentorship Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMI a plus) 3+ years of experience in SALT compliance and provision, preferably in public or corporate settings Familiarity with construction, manufacturing, or infrastructure sectors is a strong plus Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.) Understanding of multistate apportionment and state tax rules Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and communication skills Motivated to develop international tax skills within a dynamic environment Salary Range : $78K-$100K base, plus annual bonus potential Benefits Package : Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, and professional development Work Environment : Collaborative, mission-driven culture with career growth opportunities candidates
