As an ADA Accommodation & Compliance Specialist, you’ll ensure Maverik remains a fair, inclusive, and compliant workplace for all team members. You’ll lead the accommodation process under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), review medical documentation, and partner with leaders and HR teams to create reasonable accommodations that support both individual needs and business operations. This is a key role that balances empathy with compliance expertise, helping Maverik uphold its commitment to accessibility and inclusion.

Location / Schedule : This role is based at our Salt Lake City Headquarters with a 4-day hybrid in-office schedule.

Position Summary & Day-to-Day Responsibilities :

This position manages the ADA accommodation process across Maverik’s footprint while partnering with HR, Legal, and leaders to mitigate compliance risks and promote inclusivity.

• Manage and coordinate the ADA interactive process for accommodation requests under federal, state, and local laws.
• Review and evaluate medical documentation to determine reasonable accommodations.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all accommodation requests, decisions, and actions in the leave management system (AbsenceSoft).
• Partner with HR People Partners, Legal, and leaders to guide compliance decisions and risk mitigation.
• Support compliance audits, reporting, and continuous improvement of ADA processes.
• Stay current with evolving ADA and employment regulations, communicating updates to stakeholders.
• Provide training, tools, and resources to leaders and HR partners on ADA, accessibility, and inclusive practices.
• Ensure confidentiality and sensitivity when handling medical and personal information.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range : $70,000-$85,000 + DOE and Bonus Opportunities

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
