Responsibilities Work in a medical plaza setting within the MRI department with 3 Siemens scanners (Skyra Fit, Prisma Fit, and Sola) Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients Frequent procedures include MRI brain with perfusion, brain with / without contrast, abdomen with / without contrast, and knee without contrast Primarily pre-op and cancer patient exams 4x10 hour day shifts from Monday through Thursday, 11 : 30 AM to 10 : 00 PM No weekends or call required Uses Epic documentation system; experience preferred Main duties include performing a range of MRI exams and preparing patients for procedures Will be expected to assist with patient preparation for MRI scans Expected to work holidays only if needed to maintain contracted weekly hours Dress code and specific scrub color not specified Locals are accepted at the same rate as travelers RTO (time off) requests must be submitted with application for consideration Current employees of the facility are not eligible for travel positions at this location Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program Requirements Current ARRT and BLS certifications required Minimum of 1 year of MRI technologist experience Ability to work with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients Ability to prep patients for MRI studies License required if applicable Willingness to undergo Ohio fingerprinting process promptly upon contract signing Two professional references required, with at least one from a manager, director, or leadership role Former employees eligible if separated for at least 6 months Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-627621.
