Electrical Engineer Technician

Sutphen is seeking an electrical engineering technician to join our growing team in Dublin, Ohio.

Responsibilities

• In this role, you will play a key part in the electrical layout and design of custom fire apparatus, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and NFPA standards.
• Create precise electrical system documentation and CAD drawings, and troubleshoot production issues to support manufacturing goals.
• Collaborate with Engineers, Sales Engineers, and Production Personnel to interpret design requirements, determine detail required, and coordinate design with other designers.
• Self-check designs and drawings for accuracy and completeness.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues that come up during production and drive quick resolution.
• Maintain working knowledge of NFPA 70, NFPA 79, and NFPA 1901 standards.
