Facility Setting : Emergency Department

Assignment Type : Travel Nursing – ER RN jobs

Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 3 / 2025 – End : 2 / 2 / 2026)

Shift : 12-hour nights (3 : 00pm–3 : 30am or 7 : 00pm–7 : 30am; flexibility required)

Hours per Week : 36

Weekend / Holiday Coverage : Every other weekend and holiday as needed

Dress Code : Personal scrubs (any color)

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2070–$2220

ER RN Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience

Active Massachusetts RN license – MA nursing jobs

Certifications required : ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), TNCC

Basic Dysrhythmia course completion preferred

Meditech Expanse EMR experience preferred

COVID vaccination (dose date on or after 10 / 3 / 23) or approved exemption (mask required if exempted)

Reliable personal vehicle required for assignment

Permanent address must be included in profile (must reside outside 50-mile radius of facility)

Current work history, skills checklist (within 1 year), and 1 supervisory signed reference (from past 2 years) required

Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate care to Emergency Department patients

Assess, triage, and prioritize patient care based on acuity

Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to protocols

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members

Accurately document patient care in Meditech Expanse EMR

Respond to emergencies and deliver life-saving interventions

Participate in weekend and holiday coverage as required

Ensure compliance with facility policies and Massachusetts state nursing regulations
