Aya Healthcare has an immediate opening for the following position : Sterile Processing Tech (SPT) in Duarte, CA.

Requirements :

  • Required Certifications : BLS, IAHCSMM / HSPA
  • Required Skills : Acute Hospital OR, Chemical agents for decontamination, Disinfectants, High-Level Disinfection (HLD), Manual cleaning, Proper labeling, Ultrasonic cleaner, Use of Washers / sterilizers, Aseptic Technique, Case Cart, Organizing trays, Placing instruments on trays, Preference cards, Proper labeling, Proper selection of wrapping materials, Sterilization wrapping procedures, Endoscopes, Sets / trays assembly, Equipment Documentation, Sterile Processing Microsystem (SPM), Bariatrics, Dental, Ear / Nose / Throat, Endoscopy, General, Laparoscopic, Neurology, OB / GYN, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Plastics, Podiatry, Robotics, Transplant, Urology, Vascular, Biological indicators, Chemical indicators, Gas (ETOH) Testing / monitoring, Immediate-use steam sterilization (IUSS), Steam Sterilization Testing / monitoring, Steris Testing / monitoring, Sterrad Testing / monitoring

Job Details :

  • Pay : $1200 / week - $1428 / week
  • Assignment Length : 13-week assignment
  • Shift : 5, 8-Hour 07 : 00 - 15 : 30
  • At least one year of experience required
